It was really exciting to finally make some headway though!

I read it! Actually, I read it some time ago, lol, but I've been so busy, I hadn't had the chance to let you know. You're a pretty interesting person ^_^ At least, I think so.Aimiyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701520334358658013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2102633610171164116.post-63163013687931488122012-08-25T00:30:25.528-05:002012-08-25T00:30:25.528-05:00Those kinds of textbooks are the WORST, aren't...Those kinds of textbooks are the WORST, aren't they? With those, I just keep reading and reading, waiting for them to get to the point, and next thing I know, I'm at the end of the chapter and I'm still asking, "yes, but what is the point of that?" or even, "uuuuuuh, gabh mo leiscéal?" (uuuuuh, excuse me?) I hope your new books are of better use to you!

Thanks! I posted up the questionnaire this afternoon. I only now remembered to let you know! ^.^Angel Féehttp://ostrich-in-a-duck-factory.webs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2102633610171164116.post-61170840441313719452012-08-24T12:38:54.398-05:002012-08-24T12:38:54.398-05:00Haha, from the books I had, I couldn't even do...Haha, from the books I had, I couldn't even do a little! It was so confusing, I kept going "But why is it that way?" and even when they explained it, I was still confused completely.

By all means, go right ahead! I'd love to see your response ^_^Aimiyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701520334358658013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2102633610171164116.post-24790328979681859062012-08-23T15:35:10.119-05:002012-08-23T15:35:10.119-05:00Wow, I can't believe it's taken me 10 days... Wow, I can't believe it's taken me 10 days to sit down and see this post!

Personally, I found that the best approach to studying any language is just to do little bits at a time: VERY little bits. A lot of my Japanese books cram so much into one lesson that, like you said, it is difficult to grasp. I started learning Irish by TalkIrish.com two years ago where I learned that it is best to learn in little "bite-sized" pieces rather than several paragraphs at a time. In a matter of weeks studying by this approach, my Irish was greatly surpassing my years of studying Japanese, which is rather sad, haha. XD But now that I know what approach works best, I can study just small parts of one Japanese lesson in my textbooks rather than a whole lesson at a time which makes it "stick" better.

I think I will fill out your little questionaire (may have spelt that wrong). Is it all right if I post it on my own blog and link to you?Angel Féehttp://ostrich-in-a-duck-factory.webs.comnoreply@blogger.com
